Job Description

About Keppel MET Renewables

KEPPEL MET Renewables (“KMR”) is a joint venture between Keppel Infrastructure and MET Group that invests, develops, operates, and manages high-performance utility-scale solar PV and onshore wind renewable energy assets across Western- and Southern Europe, the Nordics, and the United Kingdom.

Primary Objective

Support across all elements of the infrastructure investment lifecycle from origination, M&A execution, and financing to post-investment project management.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in
    • origination, evaluation, due diligence, structuring, and M&A execution of renewable energy infrastructure investment opportunities; and
    • project finance activities to reach financial close and ensure a smooth handover of the asset to the development and asset management teams
  • Assist in drafting transaction documentation and investment recommendation and approval processes
  • Support financial reporting, controlling and other ad hoc tasks
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders including Legal, Engineering, Finance, Power Market/Trading Team, Compliance, Tax/Structuring, and Risk
  • Proactively drive internal process enhancement and operational excellence initiatives

Qualifications
  • MSc in Finance from a tier-1 university, MBA and/or CFA is preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in Transaction Services, Investment Banking, Private Equity, M&A Advisory or Consulting
  • Solid accounting, valuation and financial modelling skills
  • English fluency required, proficiency in Italian, Spanish and/or German is an advantage
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with sound understanding of investment analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Results-oriented, highly motivated, with a solid hands-on work ethic
