Medisinsk avdeling i AstraZeneca Norge søker en Medisinsk rådgiver innen fagfeltet vaksine og immunterapi. AstraZeneca har en betydelig portefølje i tidlig fase innen både vaksiner og immunterapi, hvor vi jobber mot forebygging og/eller behandling av virus/bakterieinfeksjoner. What you’ll do
We are looking for a Medical Advisor within V&I (Vaccine and Immune therapy) to join our team. This role is field based in Norway.
Join our industry-leading BioPharmaceuticals team at AstraZeneca, where our rich and diverse pipeline speaks for itself. As a field-based Medical Advisor, you will be responsible for implementing medical activity plans for our marketed products and compounds in development. You will translate scientific knowledge into strategies and tactics that support business success and demonstrate valuable insights from the external environment to enhance decision making.
You will conduct medical/scientific exchange activities to increase comprehension of relevant clinical data, develop, enhance and maintain engagement with external partners, and support scientific programs that explore unmet medical needs in priority disease areas. You will also collaborate with both internal and external partners to improve clinical practice.
In order to succeed, you have:
- Advanced scientific degree, preferably Master’s Degree, in life sciences or a related area
- Expertise from Vaccine or/and Immunology
- Pro-active approach with respect to engaging national external partners
- Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content and context to a variety of audiences
- Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, health care systems and payer structures in the Nordic countries
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficient in both written and spoken Norwegian and English.
- Ability to travel
- Driver’s license required
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience from medical affairs
- Clinical and/or research experience within the relevant therapeutic area
- Strong leadership and management capabilities
- Experience launching new products or indications
- Knowledge of information/technology systems including EMR integration and clinical process improvement and care pathway optimization
