Position Overview
As a Waiter, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests by delivering exceptional service and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
Minimum Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Present daily specials and offer recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders promptly and efficiently.
- Communicate orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Check on guests regularly to address any additional needs or requests.
- Clear tables and ensure cleanliness and tidiness in the dining area.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a smooth flow of operations.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to provide outstanding customer service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and cocktail offerings, is a plus.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is desirable.
