We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term basis at our Eight Mile Plains office. Ideally, we would like someone full-time for the 12-month period, however if you’re experienced and seeking part-time employment (4 days) we are open to being flexible!
The QA Officer is responsible for assisting and supporting the Group Compliance Manager in relation to the creation and maintenance of quality systems and documents/procedures, including GMP Agreements, development of quality plans, control of master documentation, and conducting investigations into changes, deviations, non-conformances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and implementation of a quality system to ensure compliance with the codes of GMP, TGA, and Food Standards Authority
- Co-ordinate and review Contract Manufacturing specifications
- Assist in Customer Complaints investigations
- Assist with the writing and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, process instructions, raw material, bulk product specifications, test methods, and quality records
- Co-ordinate change controls and related activities, as required, for close-out in a timely manner
- Generate and coordinate GMP agreements as required
- Assist in recall investigations
- Assist with annual product quality reviews
- Assist the GMP licensed sites with urgent QA documentation as required
- Follow SOPs as directed
About You:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a similar role and industry is desired
- Strong understanding of quality systems design and functionality within a manufacturing environment
- Sound knowledge of GMP and TGA would be an advantage
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively, ensuring deadlines are met
- Strong attention to detail, displaying a philosophy of continuous improvement
