Job Description: Jeffounet, a renowned festival apparel clothing brand, is seeking a talented and dedicated WhatsApp Translator (English to Darija). As a translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between our English-speaking team and our Darija-speaking audience. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing fashion brand, where you will contribute to the fashion vision for new collections.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely translation services from English to Darija on a day-to-day basis, primarily through WhatsApp.
- Translate various types of content, including but not limited to emails, messages, creative briefs, marketing materials, and fashion-related documents.
- Ensure the translation maintains the brand's tone, style, and messaging consistency.
- Collaborate closely with the team to understand fashion trends, concepts, and ideas, and effectively convey them in Darija.
- Assist in the development of the brand's fashion vision for new collections by effectively translating and communicating creative concepts.
- Occasionally travel to Rabat/Sale to meet with the tailor and participate in fashion-related activities or events.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Darija, with exceptional translation skills from English to Darija and vice versa.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Strong understanding of fashion terminology and trends.
- Familiarity with the festival apparel industry is highly desirable.
- Adept at using WhatsApp and other digital communication platforms.
- Ability to work remotely and independently, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Flexibility to travel to Rabat/Sale on certain occasions, as required.
- Currently studying fashion or possessing prior experience in the fashion industry is preferred.

Reporting:
In this role, you will report directly to the CEO, who is based in New York City. Regular communication and updates will be conducted through various digital channels, including WhatsApp and other remote collaboration tools.
